HI, I'M SARAH

I grew up playing sports and was fairly athletic my whole life. But my natural build is very skinny and zero curves which had caused me to get made fun of throughout my teenage/adolescent years. After college - I found myself needing a hobby and unhappy with my build I decided to pick up weight lifting in the gym. I would pick random exercises to do and I didn’t really know what I was doing. I followed some fitness girls on Instagram and would do their workouts.

I spent way too much of my time lifting but not eating the proper things, which caused me to see minimal results. I ended up dating my now husband (fun fact: our first date we met up at the gym for a workout haha) and he taught me the ropes as he was already a certified personal trainer. I fell in love with the results and finally felt good about my body and the curves I was creating from the gym and working out became my passion.

After getting pregnant and having our son, I had a whole new experience with fitness. I had new challenges like losing my baby weight instead of what I was used to  desire which was gaining weight while trying to keep/gain curves in the process.

It took time, but I fell in love with my body more than ever. I had the body I dreamed about and it was after having a child. I heard so many women say they couldn’t have their dream body because they had kids. That is false. I wanted to show them they could and help them reach their goals. So I signed up for NASM and received my certification as a personal trainer.

Now my passion is to help other moms and women in general feel amazing about themselves and their bodies. 

HI, I'M CJ

I grew up in a rough neighborhood as a child, surrounded by gangs and violence. Sports were the only way I made it safely out of the hood. I became one of the top athletes in the state of Michigan in basketball and football which expanded my career to play college and professional sports as well. My professional career was very short after sustaining a torn ACL/ meniscus in my right knee. My dream was to make it professionally and make enough money to move my family out of the ghetto.

At that moment of my injury, I doubted myself and gave up on everything because I believed I failed. After rehab for my knee I found myself coaching and training kids to help them accomplish their dreams physically and mentally. I’ve helped a group of kids play sports in college and graduating college by helping them with their mindset of being determined to be great at everything they do. Personal Training and teaching kids with autism became the career path I pursued, as I love helping everyone reach their goals and going beyond.

This has always been my happy place, which is to be the person that made a positive impact on anyone’s life mentally and physically. Now I have a beautiful family and I want my son to look up to me and see the good that I try and bring into this world. I want him to know he can be successful with whatever he chooses to do in life and to never give up, even if there are challenges we must face along the way. 

I am determined to elevate in every aspect of life and now I want to help you do the same!
